Meet Renee & Kevin Pottle

Meet Renee & Kevin Pottle

So much of what makes a small business successful depends upon relationships. Owning and operating one in Prince Rupert makes it that much easier to establish those important, key relationships, whether it is with customers or business-to-business, says Renee Pottle. The people who live in Prince Rupert are friendly, caring and open to forming relationships. When it comes to life outside of work, those relationships also make a big difference within the community. With fewer people than might be found in a large urban centre, the opportunities for one person to make a community-wide impact are greater and those changes benefit more people. "Everyone can be a part of supporting and maintaining a sense of community," Renee adds.

Kevin Pottle loves his trade, which is one of the main reasons he decided to start his own electrical business in 2012. He is committed to quality work, safety and ongoing learning in the profession. He is proud to share that with his customers and to instill that same sense of passion and dedication in his employees, from his electricians to his support staff. "I love that I have a strong team of workers," he adds.

Kevin's family is based out of Prince Rupert, which is one of the reasons he chose it as his home and the place to establish his business. He also chose it because of his affinity for it's natural beauty. He especially appreciates its ocean views, especially when out boating. When he and Renee are not busy working, they like to spend as much time as possible with their family and participate in community events.
